FAQ - Mushroom Cloud Press Interp Scripts
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How does your download process work?
First, finish checkout and purchase of your script sets. Make sure to double check your email address. Then, you'll receive an email with download instructions. This email is separate from your order receipt.
The email link will allow you to download your sets as a zip file. Windows (PC) and Apple (Mac) computers can automatically open these files. Inside, there are Adobe PDF files (if your computer can't open these, grab free software that can be downloaded here), as well as a file featuring all the plays' descriptions.
You cannot download your script sets on a smartphone or tablet. These devices cannot open zip files. You will need to download to a computer first, and then send the individual scripts to those devices as needed.
You will be able to download your plays up to five times. We can send you a new link if you use up all these downloads. Please check your SPAM folder if you do not receive either e-mail.
How do I order with a school purchase order?
You can scan & e-mail the PO to joe@mushroomcloudpress.com or e-mail with all the information in the PO (PO # and date, billing address, school name and address), and we will e-mail the scripts to you once we confirm the information.
Can I get printed copies of your scripts?
You are permitted to print copies of the scripts you purchase for purposes of rehearsal and competition. The NSDA now allows electronic scripts and has approved our collections, so you no longer need to purchase printed copies for tournament challenges.
Do all of your scripts come with copyright information and ISBNs?
Yes!
Can I call or fax you?
Our office hours vary, so for the fastest service please e-mail us first.
Can I get a sample of a play?
If you would like more information on a piece, please email us – we’ll be happy to answer your questions on any topic, and will gladly provide more details on a script’s plot and characters.
Are these plays appropriate for my students?
Mushroom Cloud Press offers a wide variety of plays on a wide variety of topics, as we know there are many different standards for different leagues and regions. None of Mushroom Cloud Press's scripts would be rated higher than "PG-13" at the movies, so we believe they are all appropriate for teenagers to view and perform. We have scripts that fit the tone and standards of every type of competition.
Can I return plays for a refund?
Mushroom Cloud Press offers a 100% quality guarantee. If you believe something to be deficient with our plays, or that they do not match the quality advertised on our site, we will offer you a full refund. If your order is incomplete or incorrect, we will work to replace those plays as quickly as possible. Note that refunds will be issued at the sole discretion of Mushroom Cloud Press.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Below are more details for customers who signed up for one of our lifetime subscriptions. These subscriptions are no longer available. As always, we’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have via e-mail.
How do I sign up for a subscription?
Mushroom Cloud Press no longer offers subscriptions. All prior subscriptions will be honored. Your current subscription is unaffected by this change in offerings.
How do I get new plays after I’ve subscribed?
You don’t have to do anything! As soon as they’re released, they will be e-mailed automatically to the e-mail address where you received your initial order.
Can I transfer my subscription?
The subscription cannot be transferred to a new person unless a coach is leaving a school and wishes to pass it on to a new coach at the same school. You are welcome to send an updated e-mail address if the address you signed up for is no longer functioning.
How long does the subscription last?
For as long as Mushroom Cloud Press publishes the package you are subscribed to. “Lifetime subscription” refers to the life of the script package.
